Radiesse Filler Burlington Ontario: Lift, Contour & Stimulate Collagen

When it comes to dermal fillers, most people think of Hyaluronic Acid — but Radiesse offers something different. Available at Lift Beauty Bar in Burlington, Ontario, Radiesse is a unique biostimulatory filler that not only adds immediate volume but also stimulates your body's own collagen production for longer-lasting results.

What Is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a Health Canada-approved calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) filler. Unlike Hyaluronic Acid fillers that simply fill space, Radiesse works in two ways: it provides immediate structural lift and volume, then gradually stimulates your body to produce new collagen in the treated area. Over time, your own collagen reinforces the results even as the filler itself dissolves naturally.

What Can Radiesse Treat?

Radiesse is particularly well-suited for areas that need significant lift and structure. At Lift Beauty Bar, Krista Brunetti BScN RN uses Radiesse to treat: deep nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines, jawline definition and contouring, hand rejuvenation to restore lost volume, skin laxity in the neck and decollete, cheek augmentation and chin projection and profile balancing.

Radiesse vs. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

Both filler types have their place, and the right choice depends on your goals. Hyaluronic Acid fillers like Belotero are ideal for delicate areas like the lips and under-eyes. Radiesse excels in areas requiring more structural support. One key advantage: Radiesse results typically last 12 to 18 months or longer — often outlasting HA fillers in the same areas. Radiesse is also available in a diluted form for skin quality improvement and subtle volumizing across the face and neck.

Is Radiesse Right for You?

Radiesse is best suited for clients in their late 30s and older who are noticing volume loss and skin laxity in the lower face and jawline. It is not recommended for lip augmentation or very fine lines. During your free consultation at Lift Beauty Bar, Krista will assess your anatomy and goals to determine whether Radiesse, a Hyaluronic Acid filler, or a combination approach will give you the best result.

Botox in Burlington Ontario: What to Expect at Your First Treatment

Thinking about Botox in Burlington, Ontario? You're not alone. Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in Canada — and for good reason. It's fast, effective, and requires zero downtime. Here's everything you need to know before booking your first appointment at Lift Beauty Bar.

What Is Botox?

Botox is a purified protein that temporarily relaxes the facial muscles responsible for expression lines. When injected in small, precise doses by a licensed injector, it softens wrinkles on the forehead, between the brows (frown lines), and around the eyes (crow's feet) — without changing your natural expressions.

With Lift Beauty Bar, we use both Botox and Xeomin (another Botulinum Toxin Type A). Both are Health Canada-approved and deliver natural, refreshed results.

What Does Botox Feel Like?

Most clients describe the sensation as a small pinch — similar to a tiny mosquito bite. Treatments take 15 to 30 minutes, and you can return to your normal activities immediately afterward. Results appear within 3 to 7 days and typically last 3 to 4 months.

How Much Does Botox Cost in Burlington?

With Lift Beauty Bar, Botox is priced at $10 per unit. Most treatment areas require between 10 and 30 units depending on your muscle strength and desired result. We offer free consultations so you know exactly what to expect before you commit.

One Size Does NOT Fit All!

So to start the discussion about injectables such as neuromodulators, Botox/Xeomin/Dysport, and Dermal Fillers we have to talk about treatment plans first! The consult is so important because each individual patient requires different types of products, different amounts (dose), and different placement. This is so important to keep in mind as injectors and as patients seeking these types of treatments. Some of the standards that are being set today are Not natural looking or not attainable without combination surgery. In a world where there has been so much pressure on women and men to look a certain way in order for them to be accepted or viewed as beautiful and successful, we as injectors have to maintain standards that are safe, and healthy for the whole of the patient….whole being your physical and mental health. So much overfilling and too much botox is a disservice to the patient and to the industry. No one should be distorted and facial proportions and balance should be maintained. That means everyone has different amounts and limits to what should be done because everyone is different. We can’t be injecting with techniques and doses that are putting facial features out of proportion or making everyone look the same. If you request a certain look and you have an injector who says no to a treatment for you, take that advice. It is a good injector, they are maintaining your natural beauty and giving you subtle enhancements to make you look refreshed, less tired and more radiant. A Neuromodulator such as Botox and Xeomin is Botulinum Toxin A, a purified protein that in small doses called units, is injected into specific facial muscles to temporarily relax them. This means the muscle will not contract as strong and when the muscle is more relaxed the skin on top of that muscle is not as deeply creased upon movement. Over time the relaxation of these muscles creates smoother more radiant skin with less fine lines. So less movement less wrinkles. You do not need to be “FROZEN” to achieve a brighter more rested appearance. These neuromodulators can be used around the eye for crow’s feet, or to create a brow lift more specifically if the upper eye lid is hooded, most often it is injected in the frown lines or “elevens”, the forehead for horizontal lines. Botox can also be used in the lower 1/3 of the face in conservative doses to soften smoker’s lines around the mouth, flip the lip to create more lip show, the depressor muscles that pull down the corner’s of the mouth, and to relax the masseter muscle for those that grind teeth and clench. Whatever the placement, the dose will be different depending on the individual and the strength of their muscles and the way they are used to animate. Softening creases and erasing fine lines is the goal to brighter smoother skin!

Working with what's already beautiful!!

“I haven’t done any cosmetic procedures before, I want to age gracefully”. I hear this statement often from clients yet they are sitting in my chair ready to start somewhere on an anti aging journey. I think traditionally women have lived their lives not disclosing their beauty secrets, this mind set passed on generation through generation, it seems typical that we feel we have to hide our beauty routines that help keep us looking young. Fast forward a few generations to the present where everything is shared on social media platforms including the latest and greatest beauty routines that will turn back the clock on aging. How many people use face creams and serums everyday to prevent the skin from aging, get their hair coloured or dyed to hide grey hair, or go to a gym to keep their bodies looking young and fit, these are anti aging routines that are spoken of and shared daily, but, for some reason when it comes to beauty routines that involve anti aging of the face we practically hold ourselves hostage to self made non disclosure agreements! So, does aging gracefully mean abandoning beauty routines all together or does aging gracefully mean incorporating many beauty routines and only talking about some of them?! I guess the answer to that lies within an individual. Here in the blogs we are going to talk about the different anti aging measures that fall under medical aesthetics, specifically cosmetic injections like neuromodulators (botox) and dermal fillers. These treatments have been incorporated into beauty routines over the last couple decades and more recently have become the topic of discussion everywhere. We all have a natural beauty to us. We can incorporate cosmetic injections into our beauty routines to enhance our features in a natural, refreshed looking way. Aging gracefully is not necessarily doing nothing to prevent aging it’s utilizing these treatments to work with what is already BEAUTIFUL!! Stay tuned!!
